Every year, the Scientific Research Center of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts awards exceptional research achievements (The ZRC SAZU Gold na Silver Awards), appoints deserving researchers and accepts new honorary members at the Generations of Science event.


Honorary members of the ZRC SAZU can become top researchers who significantly contribute to the establishment of the ZRC of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences at home and abroad.


The ZRC SAZU Gold Award for top scientific research results can be awarded to local researchers who participate in research projects and programs of the ZRC SAZU.


The ZRC SAZU Silver Award can be awarded to junior researchers for the most outstanding doctorate.


The ZRC SAZU Researcher Emeritus title can be awarded to retired researchers for top research results.

The ZRC SAZU Blue Award is presented to ZRC SAZU’s staff for outstanding work.
